We are looking for a highly personable and enthusiastic bakery associate to assist us at our baked goods counter.

Duties and Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

 Creating a welcoming and positive customer experience at the bakery counter.

 Advising customers on baked goods selection and taking orders.

 Portioning, pricing, and packaging purchased items, as well as processing payments.

 Managing the baking ingredients inventory and requesting the purchase of stock.

 Preparing coffees and drinks to order.

 Monitoring the visual appeal and the availability of baked goods on display.

 Reporting low baked goods stock to the Baker in a timely manner.

 Maintaining a clean and tidy baked goods counter and dining room.

 Cleaning the kitchen after business hours and preparing it for the next day.

 Managing customer complaints and relaying them to the manager.

 Prepping ingredients for the bakers.

 Perform other related duties as assigned.

We are looking for an Assistant Baker to prepare a variety of desserts, pastries or other sweet goods. No experience needed, only a passion for baking!

The ideal candidate will have some food service experience and decorating skills, but not required! Candidates must be able to adhere to health and safety standards.

 Clean and prep all baking materials for the specific job

 Assemble all dry and wet goods for production

 Work alone or with a team to execute recipes

 Ensure all baked goods are stored and packaged properly

 Follow all Health, Sanitation and Safety guidelines

Qualifications:

 Can follow detailed written or verbal instructions precisely

 Mindset to work safely around hot or dangerous items

 Strong written and verbal communication skills

 Capable of standing for an 8 hour shift

 Ability to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis

We are looking for experienced bakers to prepare a variety of desserts, pastries and sweets. Your skill in baking high quality treats should be matched by your creativity to develop new amazing tastes and recipes. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years experience and decorating skills are a plus.
